Founder & CEO, Portfolia
Trish founded Portfolia, an investment platform and community focusing on educating and expanding the role of women investors. Accredited investors start with a $10K+ commitment that is invested across 6-10 companies per year, and they can be as involved as they choose—signing up for “deal teams,” hearing pitches, joining AMA sessions, and getting to know experienced Lead investors in the fund. It combines the best of the angel investing world with a strategic micro-fund structure.
Before founding Portfolia, Trish was the founding CEO of the Kauffman Fellows Program, the flagship program of the Kauffman Foundation and the first in-depth education and leadership program for venture capitalists. Trish led Kauffman Fellows for over a decade, from its inception through the early years after it was spun out from the foundation into the independent organization it is today.
Trish was Director of the Arthur M Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College from 2008 to 2009, joining several of the co-founders of the Kauffman Fellows Program, Professor Jeff Timmons and Provost Patricia Greene.
Trish earned her MBA from Rockhurst University. She is a frequent conference speaker, and has been honored for her leadership on numerous occasions, including being named one of Inc. magazine’s 2016 “Most Impressive Women Entrepreneurs.”
