Anna F. Doherty is an experienced editor and writing instructor with a unique collaborative focus in her work. In addition to providing support the Thought Leadership Projects undertaken by currently enrolled Fellows, she manages the Kauffman Fellows Report as well as Kauffman Fellows Press books. For Kauffman Fellows, Anna works on writing and outbound publications from soup to nuts, helping authors develop ideas, outlines, and drafts, as well as working on layout and proofreading. She particularly enjoys helping Fellows and Mentors present their stories and experiences to a broad audience. In addition, she pitches in to assist the team with writing, editing, and marketing ideas as needed.
Concurrently, Anna is the principal of Together Editing & Design and offers writing coaching, editing, and instruction to professionals across the world. Since 2004, she has worked extensively with graduate students and faculty as well as business industry clients, helping them polish their work for publication. She has 19 years of experience as a writing instructor and editor on three continents, plus 17 years in a variety of business industries. Anna graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University with a degree in Arabic and Russian. She lives in Redwood City, CA with her husband and son. She practices aikido and zen meditation, and runs a gaming group for young people.
