Mangrove Capital Partners
Yannick is a Principal at Mangrove Capital Partners, an early-stage European VC firm that notably backed billion-dollar companies Wix, Skype, and WalkMe. At Mangrove, Yannick focuses on consumer apps and SaaS, B2B SaaS, and DTC brands. He currently sits on the boards of Mangrove portfolio companies Safe365 (elderly care app), GetAlbert (freelancer app), Red Points (brand and IP protection SaaS solution), Attentive (sales intelligence SaaS solution), and Echobox (social media AI platform for publishers).
In 2017, Yannick launched the Europe’s Female Founders initiative, a series of meet-ups and office hours across Europe designed to identify and support the next generation of female tech stars.
Yannick began his career with FJ Labs in New York, where he learned how to assess the potential of very early-stage ventures. Back in Europe, he founded a B2B SaaS startup that digitizes the communication flow between the various stakeholders of the global investment fund industry. He then joined the strategy team of BIL, the oldest and second-largest bank in Luxembourg, where he worked on the development and execution of the group’s global strategy across all business lines.
Education, Personal, and Fellowship
Yannick holds an MSc in business engineering from Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium, and spent a year studying at Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is fluent in English, French, German, Spanish, and Luxembourgish. Yannick is a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Shapers.
As a member of Class 23, Yannick is serving his fellowship in Luxembourg at Mangrove under the mentorship of Mark Tluszcz, Mangrove CEO and Wix Chairman.
