In April of 2017, we lost a Fellow and friend, Tadhg O’Toole (Class 18) to cancer. In his memory, we are launching a scholarship fund to help foster leaders who embody Tadhg’s integrity, compassion, and entrepreneurial spirit—and asking for your support. The Tadhg O’Toole Scholarship Fund‘s first goal is to raise $25K per year for three years, which will be awarded to one new Fellow in classes 23, 24, and 25.
The scholarship will be awarded to the new Fellow portraying similar qualities as Tadhg, including integrity, compassion, thoughtfulness, insight, leadership, generosity and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. The recipient will also require financial assistance to participate in the Kauffman Fellows Program.
You can contribute any amount as a three-year commitment; a one-time payment; or in monthly, quarterly, or annual payments. Contributions will be accepted through June, 2018 for the Class 23 Kauffman Fellow Candidate to benefit from. After June, 2018, any donations received will go toward the following year’s candidate (Class 24).
Donations received before December 31, 2017 are eligible as a charitable tax deduction for U.S. tax filings for tax year 2017. Contributions on or after January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018, are eligible as a charitable tax deduction for US tax filings for the year 2018.
Thank you for your donation!
