John McIntyre leads the Kauffman Fellows Network, a global community of “smart, connected capital” comprised of the 525 Kauffman Fellows across 40+ countries.
Prior to joining Kauffman Fellows, John was the Managing Director of the Citrix Startup Accelerator, a global open innovation platform, providing seed funding and a full accelerator program to early stage startups. Partnering with other corporations and venture capital firms, the program delivered support and funding to over 80 startups.
John co-founded InnerWorkings, a Dublin, Ireland and Silicon Valley-based company that was later acquired by Intuition. Subsequently, John ran the Enterprise Ireland software team in North America. Earlier in his career, John spent 13 years at Intel where he helped launch new products and fund early-stage startups with Intel Capital.
John holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and is a Kauffman Fellow, Class 18. John is an NFL co-owner (Green Bay Packers) and spends his weekend time playing tennis and mountain biking in Northern California with his lovely wife, when not back in Green Bay.
