Jason Green
Jason graduated cum laude with an AB in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard, with Distinction. Jason was selected as the Charles Williams Fellow at Harvard's Graduate School of Business for post-graduate research in Entrepreneurship and Finance.
Jason serves on the Advisory Board of the Arthur Rock Center of Entrepreneurship at Harvard and on the Steering Committee of the West Coast Research Center. He is a Founding Board member of Endeavor, a non-profit serving the needs of entrepreneurs in emerging markets. Jason is married with two children.
Jason’s personal mission is to help unlock human potential while protecting the planet in the process. Jason understands the magic of aiming high and investing in culture, discipline, and focus and compounding those efforts over the long term. Knowing how fragile team culture, focus and investment discipline is, he now protects it fiercely—and the result is sustainable success.
“I believe entrepreneurship is the finest engine of unleashing human potential on the planet and the practice needs to be spread far and wide. We also increasingly recognize growth has to be aligned with bringing along all stakeholders and minimizing the negative consequences of that growth," Jason said.
He has been an early investor in leading companies such as Gusto, SalesLoft, G2, ServiceMax (acquired by GE), Box (BOX IPO), Yammer (acquired by MSFT), SteelBrick (acquired by CRM), SuccessFactors (IPO and acquired by SAP), Visual Networks (VNWK), DoubleClick (DLCK/Google), and aQuantive (AQNT/MSFT).
Giving back has also been an important value for Jason. He recently formed the Greenbridge Foundation to make impact investments and philanthropic commitments. He is the founding chairman for the Kauffman Fellows Program, founding board member of Endeavor and served on the board of the National Venture Capital Association. Jason also served as chairman of the West Coast Research Center for Harvard Business School and on the advisory board of the Rock Center for Entrepreneurship. He was named to the Forbes Top 100 Venture Capitalists Midas List 2017.
Currently, Jason serves on the Boards of ASAPP, BetterWorks, Drishti, Lotame, and Oyster, and is an active board observer at Gusto and G2. He is a board member of Endeavor.org and Freeworld, a non-profit serving the formerly incarcerated to be gainfully employed.

He loves travel, tennis, golf and time with his family, and enjoys a great pinot noir. Fun fact: he’s a twin married to a twin!
Jason Green is a member of the Charter Class of Kauffman Fellows and served his fellowship under mentor Ted McCourtney at Venrock Associates in New York. He has served as mentor to Jake Saper (Class 20) and Kara Egan (Class 23).
