Alessio Beverina

Alessio graduated from Politecnico di Milano, in chemical engineering, with specialization in chemistry and physics of solid materials.

Alessio also holds an MBA from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-EAP).

Founder of Panakes, Alessio has a deep knowledge of technological development achieved through positions in leading companies and electronic lab (STM, LETI). He has an extensive experience in the venture industry, having worked for almost 10 years at Sofinnova Partners, one of the biggest VC funds in Europe, up to Partner position. He has actively invested in several start-ups across Europe, with a key role in several success growth stories and exits, including IPOs and trade sales. He is a well-known member of the European investment landscape, often invited as speaker at many international conferences. He has also actively contributed in founding the Italian Tech Alliance (Italian national VC association),where he is currently the Secretary.

Alessio is a member of Class 13.

He served his fellowship at Sofinnova Partners under mentor Jean Schmitt in Paris, France.
