Education

Anarghya is passionate about diversity in tech and considers it a lifelong mission to get more women involved in technology and to increase diversity in both thought and practice in the field. In her spare time, Anarghya trains for marathons and performs as an Indian classical dancer with a dance company she founded, Vana. She is from Oregon, is a proud Stanford grad, and lives in San Francisco.

Professional

Anarghya is now a Venture Partner at Maveron and recently took on a hybrid operating role at Vanta, where she leads global VC and startup partnerships as Investor in Residence. At Maveron, she continues to serve on boards, source and champion deals through her extensive network, and invest both through the firm and her own angel platform.

Anarghya spends her time understanding consumer and cultural behavioral shifts, identifying the billion-dollar businesses that will emerge, and partnering with the right founders to help grow those startups into household names. She is particularly interested in companies improving the health and wellness of large populations and has invested across sectors such as mental health (Two Chairs, Bend Health), women's health (Alife), healthcare platforms (Goodbill), and connection and community for wellness (RecRoom, Co-Star).

Prior to joining Maveron, Anarghya was a seed investor and a product manager at several startups, notably Medable in the healthcare space. She started her career at Google and has been in the Bay Area tech scene since her undergraduate years at Stanford, where she studied Science, Technology, and Society, graduating with honors with a focus in Human Biology, and Mathematics.

Fellowship

Anarghya is serving her fellowship at Maveron under the mentorship of Maveron founder and Managing Director, Dan Levitan. She is a member of Class 23.
