Anna identifies as Mexican, Australian and Greek. She mostly lives in Mexico City with her husband and two daughters. Anna is deeply committed to increasing the participation of women in all spaces of public life and is cofounder of Mujeres Invirtiendo, and Voz Experta - two organizations to support the development of professional women in Mexico. Anna holds a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies, a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide and is a Charted Financial Analyst. Anna loves to travel and to ski and is regularly participates in ultradistance sporting events including cycling, marathon and Ironmans.

Anna is founder of Amplifica Capital , the first female focused VC firm in Mexico. They make investments to generate excellent returns for their investors by increasing participation of women in venture capital. They invest in early stages where technology is an enabler to drive sustainable growth in Latin America. Anna is an investor with over 25 years of experience. Her guiding principle is invest in the change you want to see. She was recognized as one of the top female investors by the Latin American Venture Capital Association. Anna grew up in a family business environment, which almost put her off entrepreneurship for life, but she survived and has first-hand operational experience and understands many of the challenges that entrepreneurs face. Anna spent 20 years working internationally in the energy sector developing and financing large scale energy projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
