Ashish Aggarwal

Ashish holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and London Business School, a MEM with a focus on design thinking from McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and a BE in Information Science from RVCE, India. In his spare time, Ashish loves understanding how to develop inclusive communities, traveling to new countries, and learning about new technologies.

Ashish Aggarwal is a Partner at IronArc Ventures, where he invests in growth-stage companies from Series B onward. He backs category-defining businesses across two theses: Full-Stack AI (chips, compute, and infrastructure through the application layer) and Physical AI (robotics, energy, aerospace, defense, and industrials). IronArc's portfolio includes Anthropic, Anduril, Saronic, SpaceX, xAI, CoreWeave, Groq, Scale AI, Replit, Supabase, Path Robotics, Atoms, and Reflection AI, among others.

Ashish brings 22+ years of experience as an operator, founder, and investor. Before IronArc, he was a Partner at Chamaeleon, where he helped build one of the first AI- and quant-driven early-stage VC platforms. He also helped launch Grishin Robotics, one of Silicon Valley's earliest funds focused on robotics and AI, and has led investments in companies including Ziva Dynamics (acquired by Unity). Earlier in his career, he led M&A and corporate strategy at Opera Software, where he oversaw transactions worth hundreds of millions. His operating background includes building large-scale advertising infrastructure at Yahoo! and founding two startups in India.

A Kauffman Fellow (Class 24) and former board member of NextGen Partners, Ashish helps drive the US expansion of the 256 Network, an invite-only network of 700+ LPs and GPs. He holds an MBA from Kellogg and London Business School, an MEM from Northwestern University, and a BE in Information Science from RVCE.

Ashish is serving his fellowship at Grishin Robotics under the mentorship of Nuno Goncalves Pedro, Managing Partner and Founder at Strive Capital and Venture Partner at Grishin Robotics, and Ben Narasin, Venture Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA). He is a member of Class 24.
