Biplab Adhya

Biplab earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India, and an MBA with concentration in finance and systems from IIM Bangalore, India. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Biplab is a Managing Partner at Wipro Ventures, the corporate investment arm of Wipro. Wipro Ventures invests in Enterprise Software startups aligned with Wipro’s strategic priorities and has an AUM of $500M. Since launching Wipro Ventures in 2015, Biplab has been involved in 40 investments, 13 exits and has helped build a productive GTM channel, enabling 600+ deployments of the portfolio solutions across 250+ clients of Wipro. Some of his investments include Demisto (acquired by PANW), IntSights (acquired by RPD), CloudKnox (acquired by MSFT), Cloudgenix (acquired by PANW) and Vulcan (acquired by TENB). Prior to this position, Biplab held several operating roles in the enterprise applications services domain at Wipro and other global corporations.

As a member of Class 22, Biplab served his fellowship at Wipro Ventures. His mentor was his partner and co-head of Wipro Ventures, Venu Pemmaraju, an experienced corporate investor with 15 years at Intel Capital prior to joining Wipro.
