Brannon Jones is a deep tech investor focused on the frontier hardware sectors shaping the next industrial era, including robotics, space, energy, manufacturing, and advanced compute. He brings an operator's lens to the work: before moving into venture, Brannon spent years at SpaceX as a manufacturing and propulsion engineering leader across the Falcon 9 and Raptor programs, where he designed and built robotic factories, led teams of engineers, and co-founded the company's African-American Employee Resource Group with SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell.

He received a BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, where he played Division I football and won two Ivy League Championships, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Brannon helps lead the deep tech investing team at AlleyCorp, the New York–based early-stage firm founded by Kevin Ryan, and was named to Business Insider's 2024 Rising Stars of Venture Capital. He co-founded Deep Tech New York (DTNY), the city's flagship deep tech conference, and founded, and co-hosts The Long Frontier, a podcast exploring the technologies shaping the next thirty years. Brannon lives in New York City with his wife and is actively involved with Praxis, a venture-building community at the intersection of entrepreneurship and faith.
