Chase Prather

He studied at the University of Utah, where he eventually left to focus on investing, innovation, and company building.

Chase Prather is a Venture Capital Research Associate at ARK Invest, where he drives research and investment strategy for ARK's private portfolio, including its flagship evergreen public-private crossover fund focused on high-growth, disruptive companies.

Prior to ARK, Chase was an early team member at Sweater Ventures, where he helped build the firm from the ground up. He broadened his venture expertise through roles at TechBuzz, where he covered emerging private companies across the Mountain West, and at Alta Ventures.

Beyond traditional venture roles, Chase has advised and worked alongside multiple startups on fundraising and go-to-market strategy, giving him a hands-on perspective on what it takes to scale from zero to one.
