Daniel Blomquist

Daniel holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management - International from Linköping Institute of Technology and EPFL in Lausanne, and an MBA from Stockholm School of Economics.

He lives in Stockholm, Sweden with his wife and two kids, and has previously lived in US, UK, France, Spain, Switzerland, and United Arab Emirates.

As Fund Partner of Creandum, Daniel is the firm's Managing Director as well as responsible for the firm’s fund strategy, portfolio management and everything related to the fund's investors and fundraising. He spent his first 10 years at Creandum focusing on SaaS & Games and led the funds' investments in companies such as Small Giant Games ($1.2bn exit to Zynga), Opbeat (acquired by Elastic NYSE: ESTC), Magmatic Games (acquired by Moon Active), Futureplay (acquired by Plarium), Nonstop Games (acquired by King.com), and Neo4j (latest round $2bn-valuation).

A member of Class 16, Daniel served his fellowship at Creandum under the mentorship of Johan Brenner. He was a mentor to Andris K. Berzins (Class 22) of Change Ventures.
