
Danny Brown
Danny attended the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. During his time at Chapman, he participated and led several community organizations and productions, including award-winning philanthropies.
Passionate about technology and inclusion, Danny continues to engage with a variety of communities, working with organizations such as PledgeLA, BVCC, and others that are focused on creating pathways into venture capital for underrepresented investors. Based in Los Angeles, he enjoys spending his free time going to concerts, comedy shows, and trivia nights.
Danny is a Principal at MaC Venture Capital. Prior to MaC, he was Chief of Staff at Atom Factory, an LA-based talent management firm and angel fund founded by Troy Carter. There he focused on leveraging their unique position at the intersection of media and technology on behalf of their portfolio. Simultaneously, Danny joined the Cross Culture Ventures team, where he cut his teeth in early stage venture capital while identifying the next generation of culturally impactful technologists. Danny has a wide scope of focus, geeking out on the future of digital infrastructure, emerging tech ecosystems, and creating opportunity and access to venture capital.
