
David Borcsok
Previously, David served as Managing Partner at Ordinary, an early-stage venture capital fund. Earlier in his career, he managed two proprietary technology investment strategies as a Fund Manager at the Royal Bank of Canada. He began his career at TrilogyGrowth LP and in the Brown University Technology Ventures Office, where he focused on technology commercialization. Over more than 14 years in venture capital, David has led investments in over 60 companies that have collectively raised billions of dollars in follow-on capital.
David is a Kauffman Fellow; a David Rockefeller Fellow with the Trilateral Commission, and a member of the Bretton Woods Committee, the C.D. Howe Institute, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the Economic Club of New York, and the Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle. He is also a New Leader at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs.
He serves on the Board of Governors at the University of Waterloo and is the Founder of the Ordinary Foundation, which is dedicated to broadening access to economic prosperity.
David holds degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University and Brown University.
David Borcsok is a Partner at Mucker Capital, a Los Angeles-based, multi-stage venture capital firm. He focuses on investing in early-stage technology companies and began his tenure at Mucker as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence before joining the investment team.
David served his fellowship at the Royal Bank of Canada under the mentorship of David Unsworth, General Partner and Co-Founder of Information Venture Partners. He is a member of Class 20.
