
Devon Gethers
Devon earned his received a B.S., summa cum laude, in Finance and Behavioral Science from the University of Utah and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
He is originally from Tacoma Washington and loves to fish, weight-lift, drink coffee with friends, and spend time with his wife.
Devon Gethers is the Founding Managing Partner at Meridian Ventures, where he leads investments in pre-seed and seed-stage entrepreneurs building innovative B2B software companies. He oversees all aspects of the firm, including sourcing, selection, portfolio management, firm strategy, asset valuation, and fundraising .
Prior to founding Meridian, Devon was a member of the deal team at Mercato Partners, a growth equity firm focused on software investments. Concurrently, he also founded, scaled, and successfully exited EarlyAdmit, the world’s leading admissions consulting firm for Deferred MBA candidates, which was acquired by private equity in 2023.
Devon’s earlier experience includes investment roles across private equity and public equities at Goldman Sachs, Capital Group, and Grandeur Peak Global Advisors. On the operating side, he served as an International Operations Manager at a multinational consumer goods company, where he oversaw 150 employees and regional operations across the APAC region.
Devon is a Kauffman Fellow (Class 30) and a graduate of Coolwater Capital’s Emerging Manager Program (Cohort 6).
