Ekaterina Gianelli

Ekaterina holds a bachelor's of economics from Moscow State University and an MBA in Service Innovation & Design from Laurea University of Applied Sciences.

Ekaterina invests in early-stage tech businesses, focusing on the Nordic Bay region. She has a strong interest in healthtech (as a Venture Partner at Calm/Storm), deeptech and industrialtech, but can get as excited about opportunities outside of these sectors.

Until 2024, Ekaterina was a General Partner at Inventure, a leading seed investor in the Nordics with over $400m of assets under management. Prior to that, she was part of the team that scaled Fjord from a small consultancy into a leading design and innovation firm globally (Fjord was acquired by Accenture Interactive in 2013).

As a member of Class 25, Ekaterina has served her fellowship at Inventure under the mentorship of Itxaso del Palacio.
