As of 9/30/25, Fund I achieved a net TVPI of 4x and a DPI of 1x. Two affiliated portfolio SPVs recorded net TVPIs/DPI of 23x/1x and 5x/1x, respectively.

iFly.vc was founded by Han Shen, who had 16+ years of successful venture career with a track record of Oculus (acquired by Facebook), Fyusion (Cox), Motive Drilling (Helmerich & Payne), AlertMe (British Gas), Lexent Bio (Foundation Medicine), etc. Han has served on the board of multiple fast-growing companies such as Weee! and UMe Tea.

Weee!, the biggest ethnic e-grocery in the US, was turned down by all other investors when the company attempted to raise an equity round in late 2018. iFly.vc doubled down on Weee! and helped the company become a category leader. As Weee! became a unicorn, iFly.vc remains the second-largest shareholder. iFly.vc’s other representative portfolio companies include UMe Tea (a popular bubble tea chain with 27+ locations and growing), ChefUs (a next-generation Asian restaurant chain concept), Shopvidi (a B2B e-commerce platform for retailers in underserved communities), and Twirlista (a social marketing platform, by Gen Z, and for Gen Z).

Han earned his bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University, a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Han is a Kauffman Fellow, holds a private pilot license issued by the US FAA, and was the Dignitary Champion of the International Cherry Pit Spitting Competition in 2002.
