He is a generalist but is particularly interested in financial inclusion, climate change and adaptation, and aging and longevity. In his role at Concrete Rose, he manages the firm's operations, oversees investment activities, and offers strategic support for portfolio companies.
Prior to Concrete Rose, Ian served as Principal at Littlebanc Advisors where he led growth and control investments in lower middle market opportunities in the FinTech, Ecommerce, logistics, and consumer industries, while playing an active role in the management of portfolio companies. Prior to Littlebanc, he served as the first employee of GrizzlyRock Capital, a long/short hedge fund focused on small and mid-cap public companies. Ian began his career working for Goodrich Aerospace (now a part of Raytheon) specializing in operations and finance, skills that enable him to provide hands-on support throughout the Concrete Rose portfolio.
