Jeff Weinstein

Jeff has a BA in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of his professional pursuits, he is an elite distance runner for the Central Park Track Club, training to run a sub-four-minute mile.

Jeff Weinstein is a Partner at FJ Labs, a New York-based venture capital firm that invests in online marketplace startups and network effect businesses. He co-heads the FJ Labs investment team that has backed in over 1,000 startups globally including Alibaba, Betterment, Coupang, Delivery Hero, Fanduel, Flexport and Rappi, and manages FJ’s external fundraising efforts.

Prior to FJ, Jeff spent four years at at the venture firm Lux Capital and previously worked at a fund of hedge funds. He received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, is a Kauffman Fellow (Class 24)  and member of the Milken Institute's Young Leaders Circle.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Jeff is a husband and father of two, and a competitive distance runner with personal bests of 4:05 in the mile and 2:30 in the marathon.

As a member of Class 24, Jeff is performing his fellowship at FJ Labs under the mentorship of angel investor Fabrice Grinda.
