
Jimena Pardo
Jimena holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and has further specialized in Business Creation and Growth at ITAM (Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico).
As Carrot's founder, she became an Endeavor Entrepreneur at the London ISP in 2012. Since then, she has been actively mentoring up-and-coming entrepreneurs to build the next generation of founders in Latin America.
She is passionate about her hometown, Mexico City, and is always eager to share local secrets and must-see/dine spots.
Jimena, also known as Pime, is Managing Partner at ALLVP, a leading investment fund committed to supporting founders solving Latin America greatest problems through technology. The fund’s portfolio features a selection of the region’s most promising companies, including Fintual, Nuvocargo, Flink, Senzai, and many more. Their investments have lead to some of the highest realized returns in the region, driven by their successful exits, most notably that of Cornershop.
Specializing in early-stage, Jimena focuses in fintech, ecommerce, smart cities, and human capital sectors. Her most recent investments are in Mendel, and SenzAI. She holds boards seats at Dentalia, Mendel and Slang and she is currently servs as a Board Member of AMEXCAP (Mexican Private Equity and Venture Capital Association).
Before her role at ALLVP, Jimena was Product Growth Manager in Meta/Facebook where she oversaw user growth for Spanish-speaking Latin America. Prior to Meta, she co-founded and led Carrot carsharing as CEO, a venture-backed company which was ALLVPs first investment in 2012. Prior to Carrot, she was Product Manager at Hewlett-Packard.
