A Texas native, Josh received a BA in Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Josh is an investment professional with experience spanning private equity, venture capital, and co-investments. He currently serves as a senior investor at CIBC Private Wealth US, where he focuses on private markets investing for high-net-worth clients.

Previously, Josh served as an Investment Director at Allocate, where he helped build and scale the investment platform, managing diversified venture and growth portfolios while leading manager sourcing, diligence, and client engagement.

Earlier in his career, he contributed to the development of a nascent institutional investment portfolio at Texas Municipal Retirement System, honing his expertise in portfolio strategy, manager selection, and long-term asset allocation. Across these roles, Josh has consistently operated at the intersection of capital allocation, relationship management, and platform building, with a track record of helping shape both emerging investment businesses and institutional portfolios from the ground up.
