Julian Fialkow

Julian Fialkow is the Co-Founder of 186 Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm dedicated to backing exceptional entrepreneurs across industries. Prior to launching 186 Ventures, he was a founding team member of Drive by DraftKings, a multi-stage venture capital firm investing in sports tech and entertainment. At Drive, he focused on sourcing, investment diligence, portfolio management, and fundraising.

He began his career at DraftKings in its early stages, joining as one of the first 200 employees. In his role as Project Manager to the Chief Business Officer, he contributed to the company’s explosive growth, later joining the Strategic Ventures team to help lead marquee partnerships, customer acquisition initiatives, and new revenue generation strategies.

Drawing on firsthand experience scaling a hyper-growth technology company, he brings a unique operator’s lens to venture investing. At 186 Ventures, he leads sourcing efforts, ecosystem engagement, and platform development, leveraging a broad network to support the next generation of transformative founders.

He holds a degree in Digital Arts & Entrepreneurship from Colgate University and later pursued studies in Entrepreneurship and Clean Energy at Copenhagen Business School. A former Division I hockey player at Colgate and professional athlete in Copenhagen, he remains active in his community as Co-Chair of the Boston Winter Ball and a longtime participant in the Pan-Mass Challenge.
