Kanishk Walia

Kanishk holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

He is a licensed skipper, passionate skier and lover of Jazz music.

Kanishk is a Partner at MiddleGame Ventures, a FinTech and Digital Asset focused venture capital fund investing in Pre-Seed to Series B stage start-ups, re-architecting the future of financial services across banking, insurance, payments, capital markets, asset management and adjacent areas.

Kanishk has c.15 years of experience in the broader financial services and fintech ecosystem.  After initially training as an investment banker focused on UK mid-market M&A and capital raising activities, he has spent the past decade deeply immersed in the fintech vertical, with just under half that time as a founder and CEO of a B2B fintech, building Al driven credit risk assessment software for banks, lenders and insurers, and just over half of that time as a venture and growth investor in fintech start-ups and scale-ups.
