
Kathryn Weinmann
Kathryn holds a BA from Vanderbilt University in Spanish, Financial Economics, and Corporate Strategy as well as an MBA From Stanford University. She is passionate about financial inclusion, serving for the past 7 years as co-chair of the Technology Advisory Counsel at Mission Asset Fund, a non-profit fintech organization in the Bay Area.
Kathryn Weinmann is a VP at Norwest Venture Partners, where she is a multi-stage investor across consumer tech and B2B SaaS. Some of her notable investments include UPSIDE Foods (formerly Memphis Meats), Praxis Labs, Velocity Global, and Wyze. She also led the firm’s investments into Serena Ventures and Concrete Rose Capital.
Prior to joining Norwest, Kathryn supported Business Operations at NerdWallet with a focus on small business lending. She began her career as a management consultant with Deloitte specializing in financial services and retail loyalty.
To support professional development of investors in the venture community, Kathryn serves on the board of the Emerging Venture Capitalist Association (EVCA), a group of 1,000+ pre-partner venture capital investors.
In 2021, Kathryn received the National Venture Capitalist Association (NVCA) Rising Star Award as well as the Venture Capital Journal 40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Venture Capital Award.
