Neb Mela

Neb holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering. He is also a Kauffman Fellow. In his free time, Neb enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors with his wife and two boys, and exploring hidden gems and restaurants in the Bay Area.

Nebiu (Neb) Mela is a Partner at Geodesic Capital, focusing on investments in paradigm-shifting deep technologies across various industries, including AI/CV, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, energy technologies, advanced imaging, precision technologies, robotics, and more. He was previously at Tishman Speyer Ventures, where he led early-stage investments aimed at transforming traditional industries such as construction, real estate, and energy and electrification. Neb was also an Investment Director at Intel Capital, where he focused on investing in foundational technologies in autonomy, robotics, mobility, vision systems, sensing, and edge computing. Before his tenure at Intel Capital, Neb worked in the technology investment banking groups at Wells Fargo Securities and Robinson Humphrey, assisting technology companies with capital raising, M&A, and leveraged buyouts. He began his career in consulting at Accenture.
