Education
Philipp graduated from Rice University with a B.A. in Mathematical Economic Analysis from and was a member of men’s tennis team. Originally from Munich, Germany, Philipp is also fluent in German.
Professional
Philipp is a Partner at 468 Capital and drives the firm’s enterprise software investing efforts across the US. He joined 468 in 2021 from Sapphire Ventures, a growth-stage venture capital fund focused on all things enterprise software. Prior to joining Sapphire, Philipp was part of Goldman Sachs’ TMT investment banking division in San Francisco and advised high-growth technology companies on IPO and M&A transactions. In 2021, Philipp was recognized in Business Insider's 25 Rising-Stars in VC of 2019.
