Pui Yan Leung

Pui Yan graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree. She enjoys swimming, music and home yoga.

Puiyan Leung is an investor at Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, where she focuses on identifying and backing transformative companies across Southeast Asia. She brings a blend of operational expertise and investment acumen to her collaborative partnerships with founders.

At Vertex Ventures, Puiyan actively supports entrepreneurs in high-growth sectors including Consumer, Enterprise, Fintech, Health, and Sustainability, driven by her belief that technology can be harnessed to address real-world opportunities in Southeast Asia and beyond.

Previously, Puiyan was Director of Investments and Operations at Singtel Innov8, the corporate venture arm of Singtel. There, she sourced and invested in early and growth stage companies that align with the firm's strategic themes, and drove key strategic alliances with ecosystem partners.

Prior to that, Puiyan assumed a range of consumer and enterprise facing operating roles and once served as Singtel’s Indonesia-based lead, driving market development and expansion for the group’s digital portfolio.
