Scolet Ma

She holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Management Sciences with First Class Honours from the University of Warwick. She is fluent in Mandarin.

In her leisure time, Scolet is passionate about personal and spiritual growth. She loves travel and nature, and has a deep appreciation for all forms of art and the performing arts.

Scolet Ma is a Senior Investor on Cambridge Associates’ Asia PE/VC Investment Team, based in Singapore, where she evaluates private investment opportunities across Asia. She is passionate about innovation and venture capital investing, with a particular interest in emerging managers.

Before joining Cambridge Associates in 2022, Scolet spent 13 years at China Investment Corporation, China’s sovereign wealth fund. In her early years at CIC, she helped build the firm’s initial public market portfolios. She later played a leading role in establishing CIC’s private investment platform, where she built and scaled its global technology private investment portfolio from from inception through fund investments, direct investments, and co-investments.

Scolet began her career in investment banking at HSBC and UBS, working across London, New York, and Hong Kong in their Investment Banking and Capital Markets divisions.
