Tarek Sadi

Tarek holds a BS in international economics and politics from Georgetown University and an MBA from London Business School.

Tarek is actively involved with a number of NGOs in Lebanon focused on rebuilding schools and health clinics.

Tarek Sadi is Managing Director of Akta Ventures Limited a London based venture builder. Akta Ventures seeks out cash-generative, non-correlated market opportunities and builds niche ventures in these overlooked markets to capture profit. Tarek is also an advisor to Access Media Advisory a US based merchant bank focused on Sports, Media and Entertainment and to BY Venture Partners, a Abu Dhabi based Venture Capital fund.

Prior to launching Akta Ventures, Tarek was Managing Director of Endeavor Lebanon, overseeing the local operation and the regional expansion of Endeavor in the Middle East.  Prior to Endeavor he co-founded Middle East Venture Partners the first pan-regional Venture Capital Fund, was a Director at Dubai International Capital, a Partner at Access Media Advisory and a Vice President at Merril Lynch in London. Tarek started his career in Mexico where he worked in corporate finance with TV Azteca and launched and exited two entrepreneurial ventures.

On a personal level Tarek invests in early-stage companies in emerging markets where he uses his global network and relationships to help entrepreneur build transformational businesses for their home markets.

Tarek served his fellowship at Endeavor Lebanon under the mentorship of Fernando Fabre (Class 14), CEO of KFP. He is a member of Class 17.
