Tim received an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and completed the Venture Capital program at The Wharton School. He studied international affairs in the UK as a Marshall Scholar, earning degrees from the University of Oxford and the University of St Andrews. Tim holds a BA in intelligence studies from Mercyhurst University.   Tim lives near Boston with his wife and two children.  He enjoys playing ice hockey, reading history books, and cooking Eastern European food. 

Professional

Tim joined MassMutual Ventures as a Managing Partner in 2023 to lead the Climate Technology Fund, an early-stage fund focused on climate intelligence, sustainable cities, and clean power.  Prior to MMV, Tim was a Managing Director at Equinor Ventures, where he was responsible for a portfolio of over 25 direct investments and several fund investments across the energy and climate space. Prior to venture capital, Tim spent over a decade in the global energy industry, working on projects in over a dozen countries. His previous positions at Equinor included CEO Advisor, Corporate Strategy Manager, and Business Development Manager. Earlier in his career, Tim held research and consulting roles at Cambridge Energy Research Associates (now part of S&P Global), the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, and Google.
