Tomas Denecken
Tomas Denecken grew up in Santiago, Chile, and has a worldwide viewpoint shaped by more than fourteen years of investing and operating across the US, LatAm, and the rest of the EMs. He earned a degree in Business and Economics from Universidad Finis Terrae and has participated in executive education programs in New York, which enhanced his knowledge in global strategy and venture investment.
In addition to his career, Tomas is a father to three young boys and a passionate football fan (or soccer, as it's called in the US).

Before founding 30N Ventures, he was a venture capital investor at Capria Ventures, a global VC fund supported by notable figures like Bill Gates and Michael and Susan Dell. At Capria, Tomas invested in top VC funds and startups in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, gaining a global perspective on business innovation and a thorough understanding of diverse startup ecosystems.
His career also includes executive roles as Chief Investment Officer, Country Manager (with an exit to OLX group), Operations Manager, and Investment Director in different LatAm venture capital firms and companies in both Latin America and the U.S.
