Willian Shiang

Willian is an active angel investor, a Kauffman Fellow (Class 17), MBA from the Wharton School, MA in international relations from UPenn and BS from ITA, the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (Brazil).

Willian lives in London and loves spending time with family. He is fascinated on techniques to raise trilingual children, is a Patriots/Chelsea/Corinthians fanatic and an absolute fan of good food

At Felix, we are building a venture capital firm for the Creative Class, operating at the intersection of technology and creativity. We focus on digital lifestyle, investing in brands and related enabling-technologies. 

Our mission is to be a partner of choice for entrepreneurs with big ideas, and help them build strong brands that stand out and move the world forward. We are based in London, and operate across Europe and the US. We have c. $1.2bi under management and we announced our latest $600m fundraising in June 2022, with the capacity to invest early as well at growth stages in breakout companies, always in line with our thematic investment strategy.

Previously 7years as COO | CFO at Yoobic, one of the fastest growing technologies companies in Europe (Series B backed by Insight and Felix), whose mission is to help retailers and brands optimize their stores, operations, and teams to deliver an irresistible shopping experience that ultimately drives conversion up.

Prior to that spent nearly a decade at The Carlyle Group investing in Growth capital / Buyout transactions based out of Sao Paulo and London. 

Willian is a member of Class 17 and served his Fellowship at The Carlyle Group under the mentorship of Juan Carlos Felix.
