
Yinglan Tan
A Certified Risk Analyst, Yinglan was educated at Harvard (JFK Fellow), Stanford (Master's in management science) and Carnegie Mellon (dual degrees in ECE and economics). Yinglan is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University and also teaches modules on entrepreneurial finance and entrepreneurial management at Singapore Management University; he is also a guest lecturer at Fudan University, Shanghai.
Yinglan was named a Member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Fostering Entrepreneurship in 2011 and one of "100 Leaders Of Tomorrow" by the St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies in 2010.
Tan Yinglan is Founding Managing Partner at Insignia Ventures Partners. Insignia Ventures Partners is an early stage technology venture fund focusing on Southeast Asia started in 2017 and manages more than S$1 billion from premier institutional investors including sovereign wealth funds, foundations, university endowments and renowned family offices from Asia, Europe and North America. Portfolio companies include Portfolio companies include Goto (IDX: GOTO), Appier (TSE: 4180), J&T Express (HK: 1519), Carro, Ajaib, Groww, Tonik, Flip, Fazz, Super, Finhay, Shipper, Aspire, Pinhome, Youtrip and many other technology market leaders.
Yinglan served his fellowship at the National Research Foundation, Prime Minister's Office (Singapore). He is a member of Class 15 and served under the mentorship of Charter Class member Phil Wickham, President & CEO of the Center for Venture Education.
