Jason is a private investor in the healthcare and consumer sectors. Since Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated Puerto Rico, he has activated his network to deliver healthcare relief to the island. Specifically, he organized healthcare professionals to deliver critical care at a local hospital as well as an infrastructure platform for their providers.
Prior to his philanthropic work in Puerto Rico, Jason co-founded Mansa Capital, a private equity firm that specialized in developing innovative growth companies in the healthcare services and technology sectors. He developed the firm’s underwriting, structuring, and value creation strategies for investments. He also was responsible for sourcing opportunities by engaging his network and applying his understanding of the healthcare sector to identify businesses that delivered exceptional value.
Jason served as a member of the Investment Committee and previously served on the board of directors of several private businesses, including Accreon, and RxTE. He was also a board observer at Independent Living Systems and Healthsense. Previously, Jason was a Director and Audit Committee Chair at BioIQ.
Education, Personal, and Fellowship
Jason is a Director at Comunilife, a not-for-profit organization that provides healthcare services and supportive housing to vulnerable communities. He co-founded the Amber Charter School Foundation and serves as the board treasurer. Finally, Jason is a volunteer and donor to S.E.O., an organization that provides educational and career programs to young people from underrepresented groups.
Jason graduated magna cum laudefrom Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He received an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Jason is a member of Class 23, serving his fellowship as an angel investor.
