Peter Johnson joined Brevan Howard Digital in February 2022 as the Co-Head of Venture. Prior to joining Brevan Howard, Peter was a Partner at Jump Crypto and Jump Capital, where he was the head of Jump’s crypto and fintech investments for 9 years. He joined Jump Capital in 2013 as its first employee, initiated Jump Capital’s crypto investing strategy, and is a Founding Partner of the Alliance accelerator. At Jump, he invested in over 100 of the world's leading crypto companies and projects. Peter started his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and a consultant at Deloitte Consulting. He earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a Kauffman Fellow and CFA Charterholder. 

Education, Personal, and Fellowship

Peter aspires to be a serious ultrarunner and has run several marathons/ultras, including the Boston Marathon and Badger 100. 

A member of Class 20, Peter served his fellowship at Jump Capital under the mentorship of Garrett Vygantas (Class 13).
