Jessica is a Partner of the Cultural Leadership Fund (CLF) at Andreessen Horowitz and is passionate about empowering the next generation of underrepresented entrepreneurs and investors. Jessica is responsible for managing deal flow for the CLF and also works closely with the portfolio on diversity, equity and inclusion.
Before her venture career, Jessica worked at a food company where she led pricing and business operations for a $300M business. She also worked in strategy, sales and business operations at several consumer startups. She founded her own business, Apothery, a plant-based food company.
Jessica started her career as an Associate at Solera Capital, a $500M consumer growth equity fund in New York. While at Solera, she helped to lead the IPO and secondary transactions for Annie's, a consumer-packaged goods company.
Education, Personal, and Fellowship
Jessica is a graduate of Howard University, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration, with Honors, in finance. She earned her MBA and Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she served as a Management Leadership for Tomorrow fellow. Jessica is involved with various nonprofit organizations focused on enabling more underrepresented minorities to achieve careers in technology. Jessica is from Detroit (and proudly reps the motor city) and lives in San Francisco with her husband, Andrew.
As a member of Class 25, Jessica is serving her fellowship at Andreessen Horowitz under the mentorship of Chris Lyons and Scott Kupor.
