Liran Grinberg

Team8

Liran Grinberg is the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Team8, a venture group incubating and investing early-stage in cybersecurity, fintech and enterprise technologies. The group manages $500m+ and among its LP investors are Softbank, Temasek, Microsoft, Walmart, Cisco, Barclays, Qualcomm, Airbus, Accenture and NTT. 

Liran co-founded Team8 in 2014, initially focusing on the design of Team8’s incubation / foundry model. He worked closely with founding teams on the ideation and go-to-market of Team8’s first companies, including Portshift (acquired by Cisco), Curv (acquired by PayPal), Sygnia (acquired by Temasek) and VisibleRisk (acquired by BitSight), as well as Claroty (a unicorn backed with $235M in funding).

Liran has also built and led Team8’s Go-to-Market group across its marketing, business development, business research and strategy functions, alongside the formation of the “Team8 Village,” a tightknit community of hundreds of C-level executives from the world’s leading enterprises.

Prior to co-founding Team8, Liran led the flagship product at fintech unicorn eToro as well as the API and developers platforms for unicorn Conduit. He began his career in the cyber division of Israel’s intelligence and technology unit 8200.

Liran is a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization), has been selected by Forbes for its ’30 Under 30′ list as well as by TheMarker, Israel’s leading financial magazine, for its ‘40Under40 Promising Young People’ list. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Academic College of Tel-Aviv.
