Huiting Koh

Altara Ventures

Huiting is a Partner and Chief Marketing Officer at Altara Ventures, a Southeast Asia VC Fund based in Singapore. She has led investments into Tonik, Stashfin, Senseye, Sampingan and Saturdays and also serves on the board of Stashfin. She also leads the firm's brand and marketing strategy.

Prior to her career in venture, Huiting spent almost a decade in Brand Management at Unilever and in Advertising with TBWA. She focused on turning around large, stalwart brands like Paddle Pop, Breyers and Suave by launching new product, entering new markets, and building out digital and influencer strategies, resulting in driving penetration and revenue growth. It was here that she realised she could make a much larger impact by helping young companies find product-market fit. By building and selling an insights-led product or service, she could help deliver much greater impact than selling any amount of ice cream or shampoo ever could.

Prior to Brand Management, Huiting started her career in investment banking with Goldman Sachs, NYC.

Education, Personal, and Fellowship

Huiting attended Amherst College and graduate Cum Laude Honors with a double major in Economics and Fine Art. She is a Hasse Prize winner. She is also a member of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Class of 2009.

Outside of work, Huiting is passionate about art & design and photography. She is an avid skier and diver.
