Neb Mela is a Partner at Tishman Speyer Ventures where he focuses on early stage investments in PropTech startups that are transforming the way we utilize, build, transact, access, operate and manage physical space. Before joining Tishman Speyer, Neb was an Investment Director at Intel Capital, driving early-venture and growth-equity investments in enterprise applications and vertical AI & ML companies, including Transportation and Mobility, PropTech, Climate Tech space. He was actively involved in the firm's investments in startups, including Moovit(acq. by Intel), Katana Graph, Gro Intelligence, TriEye, Mighty Networks, NextInput (acq. by Qorvo), Accurics (acq. by Tenable), among others. Before Intel Capital, Neb worked in the technology investment banking group at Wells Fargo Securities and Robinson Humphrey, helping technology companies through capital raising, M&A, and leveraged buyout. He began his career in the consulting industry at Accenture.
Education, Personal, and Fellowship
Neb received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering.
As a member of Kauffman Fellows Class 24, Neb is serving his fellowship at Intel Capital with mentor Trina Van Pelt, Vice President and Senior Managing Director.
