Sierra is an investor, board member and former executive and policymaker. As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Voyager Ventures, she invests in early-stage climate technology companies in North America and Europe.
Prior to founding Voyager, Sierra was a Partner at Lionheart Ventures where she led the fund's climate technology investing. As an operator, she created and led corporate development teams for venture-backed financial technology platforms responsible for more than $3 billion in sustainability investment. Sierra has worked in market-driven climate protection since 2005, serving with the International Energy Agency and the Obama White House Office of Energy and Climate Change. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the non-profit Climate Neutral and as an independent board member and advisor to several climate technology companies.
Education, Personal, and Fellowship
Sierra is a graduate of Harvard and Stanford. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and young daughter.
